Esta es la primera obra publicada por JRR Tolkien. Esta escrita en un lenguaje mas coloquial, ya que se suponia un cuento para ni�os. Su enorme exito fue lo que impulso al autor a publicar el resto de su obra. Incluso, se ha publicado aquellas que no habian sido completadas.

And when you've finished, if any are whole,
Send them down the hall to roll!

Esta es su sugunda obra publicada y la mas famosa de todas ellas. Su estilo de redaccion es mucho mas epico y florido, con todos los elementos de heroismo sin exeso que serian propias de este tipo de literatura.
